Metallic epoxy generally needs to be installed by experts to get the best look and that distinctive swirl. In a niche industry such as commercial coatings, you must find the right professionals who can engineer for performance and aesthetics.

3. Maintenance.

Metallic epoxy is not a heavy traffic low maintenance floor, it will scratch and these scratches, due the high gloss finishing, will be more noticeable than in other coatings like epoxy with chips. Light colors, a top coat of high traffic polyurethane and the use of a sacrificial coat of special wax as regular maintenance help to minimize this problem.
